Right now, we offer three personalised meal plan pathways: weight loss, maintenance, and muscle gain (surplus). These cover the most common nutrition goals and allow us to tailor your plan to exactly where you want to go.We’re already working on expanding our goal options as we grow, and we can’t wait to offer even more personalised pathways soon!
What do I get when I sign up for BARE?
Once you download the App, you’ll complete a quick onboarding so we can understand your goals. From there, you’ll receive your personalised weekly meal plan. Each week, your plan updates based on your progress and your check-in results.You’ll also have access to our full meal library, a dedicated resources and education section, and our exclusive Facebook community—where you can connect with others and go through the journey together!
If choosing a weight loss plan, how much should I expect to lose weekly?
Each individual plan is going to be different depending on your personal requirements. Our team of experts has placed energy targets and weight loss factors at different increments to tailor specifically to your goals.
What happens if I don’t like my meal plan?
No worries at all! Once you accept your meal plan, you can swap meals whenever you like. Every recipe in your plan is already matched to your macro targets. Not feeling salmon tonight? Just switch it for another dinner from the meal library—each option is designed to keep you within your calorie and macro goals, so you stay on track with your weight-loss results without any extra effort or overthinking. If you need any extra assistance, just reach out to our team of experts and they’ll help change your plan for you.
Will I be cooking separate meals for my family? Or can they eat these meals?
Of course, your family will love them! Think schnitzel burgers, easy rice bowls or pastas. These are Leah's real family recipes - the same meals she makes for her own family. They're designed to be crowd-pleasers, which we know you and your family will love.
Do I have to weigh and measure everything I eat forever?
While weighing and measuring your food isn’t something we believe you should do forever, it can be a really helpful short-term tool to learn portion sizes and build confidence in “eyeballing” your meals. You might even be surprised to see how often people undereat things like protein when they first start tracking.Most users only need about 8–12 weeks of tracking to understand the system. After that, they’re usually able to maintain their results without logging every meal.
I’ve tried macro counting before with different apps, how is this different?
BARE and our team of experts do all the hard work for you. We calculate your targets upfront and give you the recipes that fit them - no more reverse-engineering random foods to hit confusing numbers. You’ll get personalised meal plans that already meet your goals, plus a full library of meals scaled specifically for you. No overwhelming data, just simple guidance you can actually follow.
How much time does it take to prepare my meals?
Depending on your meal plan and the meals you choose, prep time can range from a couple of hours on a Sunday to being super quick. Once your weekly plan arrives, you can also adjust your days - like keeping the same breakfast all week or repeating your favourite meals - to minimise prep and make your routine even easier.
